BILBERRY

Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) is native to northern Europe and it is the best source of anthocyanidins. Bilberry has long been used to help maintain healthy eyes and ocular circulation. Studies confirmed its efficacy in improving visual function, supporting blood vessel strength around the eyes and promotes healthy eye lubrication.

LACTOEYE® is formulated with BILBERON®-25, a clinically proven highly concentrated bilberry extract developed by Tokiwa Phytochemicals Japan. BILBERON®-25 is produced from 100% fresh bilberry fruits originated in the northern Europe, which are handpicked and preserved by rapid freezing and directly sent to Japan for extraction and standardisation.

MARIGOLD FLOWER EXTRACT (LUTEIN & ZEAXANTHIN)

Lutein & Zeaxanthin are the two major antioxidant carotenoids found in the human retina and lens. These yellow to red macular pigments are responsible for central vision, visual sharpness and acuity. Lutein & Zeaxanthin also helps prevent as well as reduce the risk of progression of eye diseases and macular degeneration. By acting as a blue light and UV light filter, Lutein and Zeaxanthin protect underlying retinal structures from light-induced damage.

LACTOEYE® is synergised with XanMax®, the world’s first US patented marigold flower extract (Tagetes erecta) extracted from marigold petals. XanMax® is manufactured through a proprietary process to ensure that the naturally-sourced Lutein maintains its quality and consistency.
